Meet Enda Scahill, Director of the Irish Trad Academy and lead course producer.

A multiple-time All-Ireland Champion, founder of We Banjo 3, and recipient of the prestigious Steve Martin Banjo Prize, Enda is recognised internationally as one of the foremost innovators in Irish traditional music.

With decades of performing, recording, and teaching behind him, Enda has built a reputation for producing some of the highest-quality banjo and mandolin instruction available today through his site IrishBanjoLessons.com.

Across platforms, Enda has cultivated a vibrant learning community, attracting over 10,000 YouTube followers and more than 2,000 Patreon subscribers. His approach blends cutting-edge technology with deep musical knowledge to create immersive, expertly structured lessons that help students progress quickly and confidently.

Meet George Grasso, Galway-based multi-instrumentalist

A gifted player of uilleann pipes, guitar, flute, bouzouki, banjo and many more, George brings decades of experience as both performer and teacher. He is also the Academy’s lead transcriber, creating all of the high-quality musical transcriptions used in our courses.

George has a deep knowledge of the tradition, combined with his sharp ear and versatile musicianship.
